2007 Hoffman Rhythm

I remember seeing my first Hoffman Condor around 1994 or 95 at Sk8 Underground in Moreno Valley, CA (ridden by Eric Clark who worked there). I've loved them ever since and have been on a quest to build a respectable collection of Hoffman's from all years. This one popped up on Craigslist last year and I had to have it because of the color. I bought this exact same model in 18" for my oldest son years ago and always wanted one for myself. I swapped a few of the stock parts to give it a personal touch and love the way it rides. One of my favorites for sure.

1987 GT Pro Performer Rad 25th Anniversary

Being a freestyler at heart I've loved Rad since it came out in 1986. I rode a chrome Pro Performer back in the 80's and have always wanted to build another one in it's spirit - not an exact copy but one with a similar look and just a few updates. My tribute to the 25th Anniversary of the movie incorporates 14mm dropouts in the rear, 25/9 gearing, a 1 1/8" threadless headset and 990 brakes up front with an Odyssey linear Slic cable. I finished this bike one week away from the celebration in Cochrane and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. See you up there!!

2004 Failure Grade 2 Monster Energy

The more bikes I rebuild the more I realize I am liking new school bikes. This park bike weighs about half of what my old school bikes used to weigh, handles better and just straight outperforms anything we rode back in the day. I'd been wanting to build a bike with a Monster Energy theme for over a year and finally got it applied to this failure. One of my current favorite riders right now.

1995 Dyno VFR

I've always had a thing for GT's and Dyno's and knew this would be a fun project. What started as a plain old racer turned into a mix of old school graphics, mid school design and new school stance - and I really like it! I left the original paint then either restored or replaced every other part. When you bounce the front or back tires there are no rattles - just as it rides - light and tight. Enjoy the pics...

1982 Mongoose Supergoose

My first BMX bike was a Mongoose Motomag which I rode from 1979 to 1982. I always coveted the Team Mongoose and Supergoose because of their bling factor but never owned one until last year. A lucky Craigslist find, this one cleaned up very nicely and will be my new rider for old school racing this year.
