1999 Haro Zippo (Master Retro)
I never owned a Haro Master but would pick one up in a second if the price were right. Haro Zippos are a little more readily available so I grabbed this when I saw it for sale and performed a retro restoration on it. The Zippos resemble older Masters in a lot of ways while also giving you a little more strength (and weight). I spotted a chrome Master on bmxmuseum.com with these same decals and it gave me the inspiration to build this Zippo up old-school style.

1998 Dyno Zone
The first Dyno to pop up locally on Craigslist since I caught the BMX bug again and I had to have it. It hung for about six months before I finally got around to restoring it. The parts that came with it weren't that spectacular so many of them were replaced with brand new items from porkchopbmx.com. It actually turned out a lot cooler than I expected. It sold quickly so my eye is open for another chrome one.

2002 Haro Backtrail Pro
This Backtrail was a testbed for making my own decals on white decal paper. I found a Ferrari font and used it to change up the look of the bike. The Tuff wheels are new graphites with sealed bearings and ride just like I remember Tuffs from back in the day. With such a long top tube this bike fits large riders really well and rode like a dream at the skatepark. After I rode it a few times I changed the look to help it sell. See the last pic...

I changed a few parts to take it new school and it sold right away on Craigslist.

1997 Redline Proline AL
I rode a chrome Redline MX-II back in 1982 and, once I saw some really nice looking mid-school racers on bmxmuseum.com, I knew I had to have one in my stable again (at least for a short while). This was my third complete restoration and my first shot at making my own decals. The AL stands for aluminum and this was one light and fast racer. I rode it one day with the Denver BMX guys then listed it on Craigslist. It sold within 24 hours. Now looking for another one... ;-)

1999 Dyno Zone (Compe Retro)
In the late 80's my brother bought a blue Dyno Compe. It eventually became mine and then moved on to someone else. I spent a lot of time learning freestyle tricks on that Dyno and today it brings back a lot of great memories. I've been watching for Dynos on Craigslist and recently found two of them. I rebuilt this 99 Zone to look a lot like my 87 Compe. It rides even better than my old school version did.

2003 Haro Mirra Air 540
Ever since I laid eyes on a 2004 Haro Retro Freestyler I've wanted one. Since last year I've found two Haro Mirra Air 540s which are the closest style frame to the retros. I didn't have any bikes in green so far but had been building one in my mind since last year. I decided to let the ideas out and do a custom retro Freestyler. This bike rides like a dream at the skateparks.
